Illegalisation of Abortion – The response from women.

As a coloured female (yes COLOURED & FEMALE – poor me LOL) – as well as living in WESTERN SOCIETY, you’d think I’d be one of the most marginalised women.

I work for a mostly white-male dominated industry.

I’ve never felt marginalised; as a matter of fact, I’ve been offered and worked in different roles and positions within different companies.

Do you wanna know why? Because I’m competent. I work hard and I do my best to learn the required skills to fill the role.

I don’t go around crying about lacking opportunity because of my skin colour or the fact that I’m female; nor do I expect people to just hand me what I want to prove they’re not racist or sexist.

I’m not anti-abortion, but the fact that it’s been banned in America is a good thing.

If abortion was banned here in Australia, it would force women to practice safer sex. I believe that would be good for everyone. The fact that so many people are yelling, screaming, protesting and posting about the illegalisation of abortion (in America), goes to show just how reckless and uneducated most women are.

I understand rape and other health concerns; but until you’re experiencing that yourself – shut up. You’re making arguments over hypotheticals and it holds no weight.

There’s the pill, the morning after pill, IUD, condoms etc… you have options. Yet so many women are so upset that abortion isn’t an option… the same women who probably aren’t even pregnant or have any actual health concerns; who say anything just to say something.

Stop letting random dudes get you pregnant and maybe this wouldn’t phase you as much. And just because your favourite celebrity made a post about how upset they are by this, doesn’t mean you need to jump on the bandwagon.

Because someone is a good actor, rapper or singer, doesn’t mean they know how to actually think for themselves.

I suggest you at least try to.
