Covid this covid that, just shut up.

Perth has new COVID cases. Yes it sucks, but you know what, life could be worse.

I don’t hate much in life but one thing I do hate are COVID debates.
Firstly because I genuinely don’t care about whether it’s “real” and it actually “does exist” or whether it doesn’t. I mean, nothing really exists at the end of the day – we simply assign meaning to things but that’s a story for another time.

So many things to discuss in life but people want to know “Omg Crystal have you been vaccinated?” No Judge Judy I haven’t, but I still have a couple days to get to it, so just worry about your own life please.

To the people who love to start stating facts and figures of the number of people affected etc – I don’t say this to sound insensitive, but, you know the media lies, right?

People act like the media is God himself coming down and giving us information. It’s not. It’s another human reporting whatever they need to, because it’s their job to do so.

I’ve been asked on several occasions if I believe COVID is real or not. How the hell am I supposed to know if it’s real? I ain’t God with all the answers. And some of you need to be reminded – neither are you.

If you want to believe everything you read and watch, that’s your choice. I understand people are doing their best to get through the fear we’re living in, but there’s nothing more annoying than people constantly going on and on and on about it. Go pray if you’re that worried. Seriously.

I’m not writing this because “I don’t trust the media”. This isn’t about trust issues with the government. This is about learning to think for yourself. You memorising statistics means nothing. If anything, by constantly telling people about it, you’re spreading fear… and since you believe everything you read, go read my posts on Astrology, because that’s actually real. 😉

A lot of you would test positive for being sheep. Stop spreading your fear, you’re literally manifesting it.
