Everything is happening because it’s meant to.
Think of life as driving a car and speeding to get to your destination. Along the way, you crash. Other cars overtake you and reach their destination. You think to yourself life is “unfair”… you may end up even resenting people for driving past you without stopping to acknowledge how damaged your car is from the crash.
Just know that whatever has happened; whatever is happening and whatever will happen, is meant to happen.
We all have a limited amount of time on this earth – we’re all going to check out of this life one day in some way. Make the most of your experiences without adding more pain to yourself or to others.
Forgive people even if they don’t “deserve” it. It’s not up to you to decide what they deserve. Your only job is to keep yourself in check. As for the people who have done you wrong – karma will get to them eventually, and how it deals with them has nothing to do with you. You just focus on you and having gratitude for the good you have in your life.
There is a force that we can’t see – whether you refer to this force as God, the divine, the universe, luck, karma – whatever name you choose to address it – it exists. Let’s say… you’re in a car crash and people pray for you to recover. Then you do. They’d be like “Thank God”… but God allowed you to get into that car crash in the first place. Usually it’s because we’re so far from where we are meant to be or more importantly, who we are meant to be. We get signs and messages every single day – in what we scroll through, movies, songs, books and in conversations. Ignoring these signs and listening to the opinions of your negative a$$ friends is probably why you’re questioning YOURSELF.
Pay close attention to what/ who you’re choosing to think/ believe. Every choice you make – or are impacted by – expands your understanding of life.
There are reasons behind everything. Where humans go wrong is trying to find the answers through other humans – who usually formulate an answer based off their ego.
The “car crash” happened because you were driving to a destination that may have killed you. Yes you may have crashed, but you’re alive. Have gratitude for that. While it may suck that some people kept driving past you without stopping to check on you; some of these may even be people you care about who you thought cared about you – this provides an opportunity for you to truly be grateful for those who did.
The only way to truly gain your power back is to listen to yourself – allow your intuition to guide you; and trust that there is something out there watching you and protecting you. Because there is… and they’ll always protect you as long as your heart is pure and your intentions are good (for the most part).
Stop trying to fight pain with more pain. No matter how hard life may seem to get, do your best to do the right thing. It’s the only way to overcome anything.
I’d like to make it clear – I was raised catholic but I’m not religious. I don’t preach whatever’s written in the bible or any other religious text – but I do have strong faith and trust in God/ the universe. Everything I share is based on what I’ve been through, what I’ve experienced and seen. True faith is developed through experience… always remember that.
Trust the universe. It knows what it’s doing.
