Be at peace with being misunderstood.

There are going to be people in life who misunderstand you. For some, eventually they do understand. Sometimes, they don’t and they won’t. We don’t have control over who thinks what or why they think that.

While this is applicable to all aspects of life regarding human interaction (which runs deep), I’ll use an example (that’s not so deep):

I used to get extremely frustrated when I would mention Astrology in a conversation and someone would invalidate its credibility. I’d spend a lot of time using concrete examples to get them to understand it’s a lot more than what you read in the horoscope section of the daily newspaper. Some people still wouldn’t care.

Now, when I mention Astrology and someone decides to invalidate it – I explain just a little bit, and if they seem completely unopen to the topic, then I move on with the conversation.

There is absolutely no point explaining yourself to people who aren’t open minded enough to learn.

I believe in Astrology one hundred and twenty percent. I also know that how it works is completely different to what I once believed, before I began researching into it for many years. So yes, there was a time I was critical of it too.

But I did my research. It wasn’t something I was told to believe. I didn’t take anyone’s word for it. I spent years reading and researching the various aspects so I know for certain what I believe (and what I don’t). Therefore, I refuse to debate its validity with anyone.

I’m open to a conversation with people who are critical of it and we can talk about it. Astrology has helped me understand people in such a unique way, and I’m happy to share that.

As for the naysayers who love to say “Astrology is stupid” or “Astrology isn’t real”, cool. I guess ignorance is bliss for some.

This is applicable with all aspects of life. Don’t waste your time trying to prove anything. Focus on the people who are open to understanding – whether it’s understanding you, understanding a topic, situation or whatever the case may be. For those who aren’t, just let them be and don’t waste your time.

Just like Astrology is real yet has many many critics, so will you. So will everyone.

Focus on the people who do see the truth within you and don’t start forgetting your truth just because it’s not accepted by the masses.
