Reflecting upon my own experience, I completely agree with the above quote.
While I was putting it into perspective with how I relate to it, I realised it isn’t just about a relationship between a man and a woman.
It’s about the power of women who are divinely connected (to the universe, God/ source/ whatever it is you believe in). Then I began thinking of my beautiful mum.
Now my mother isn’t into the universe/ spirituality in the way I am, as her spirituality is religion (my family is Catholic).
My mum will go to church each Sunday and prays to God every day. That’s her spiritual practice. Mine’s different – but regardless, we are both women who connect with God – our creator/ higher power – in our own way.
My mother is truly an angel on earth. Her heart is so pure; her intentions are always good and she is incredibly compassionate. I would consider her a “woman of the divine” as described by the above quote.
A woman’s womb is the portal where the spiritual becomes physical. I’m not saying that because I just referred to my mum, but because it’s an actual fact.
Women who are spiritually connected – truly spiritually connected with the divine have the most powerful type of love. I say this not because I have seen with my own eyes how things have worked out in the most unexplainable circumstances for a particular person that used to be in my life; but because I’m also someone who is loved by one of these women.
I haven’t always been deserving of certain things. I have considered myself “lucky” in certain situations where I thought to myself “there’s no way I’m getting out of this alive”. Sometimes, I’m still suprised that I did. I’ve had moments in the past where I believed it would’ve been better off if I actually did die, because the pain was so intense and I truly felt I had nothing to live for… then came the visions of my family.
When I was going through a phase in my life where I lost all hope, my mother’s pure love for me (and prayers) was what carried me through. The unconditional love of a spiritually-driven woman is powerful enough to save you.
Ladies – aim to have a kind heart rather than a “nice” personality.
This is what it means to know your worth. It’s not about thinking you deserve good things in life because you have a pretty face, nice tits or a fat ass.
There’s so much power inside of you. Give your love to a man who truly understands how valuable it is to be loved by you.
And if you’re a man reading this – appreciate the women in your life who truly love you beyond the surface.
