The meaning of life…

10 Maya Angelou Quotes That Teach Us The Meaning Of Life | YourTango

The “truth” is how deeply you feel for or about something. That’s it.

We’re all here to experience all emotions and allow them to teach and transform our souls.

So many people get caught up in trying to figure out “why”.

Is it their zodiac sign?
Is it childhood trauma?
Is it because a parent abandoned them?
..and my favourite question…

Why is that person triggering me? What is it within me that I haven’t healed?

Then off to 10 sessions with a Psychologist trying to figure out the answer.

I love personal and spiritual growth (which I’m sure you know by now), but sometimes, we need to just chill and take a breath – bringing ourselves back to the present moment.

Don’t drive yourself crazy needing an answer for every thought, emotion or situation.

In life, things happen. Let them.

You don’t need to try and figure out why. It doesn’t change what is.

Your power lies within you.

If you can truly look at yourself and know that you’re at least trying your best – despite the circumstances – to still look at situations through a lens of love and compassion, I promise you – it’ll change your inner world so much more than any advice or program outside of you will.

Of course there are extreme cases (e.g PTSD/ other illnesses) involving factors which obstruct an individual’s ability to process emotion effectively.

The answer to life will come to you from many sources throughout your life – parents, teachers, friends, a quote on Instagram, a song, poetry and the list goes on.

You’ll find yourself drawn towards certain people and places; or even books and music. These all have something to teach you.

My advice to you is to just look at life through curious eyes. Be inspired by people, art and nature, and then create your own meaning.

I hope you gain inspiration from something or someone, and know that someone is out there inspired by you. You probably don’t even know it.

So just remember, don’t question too much. You already know the answers – you need to start trusting yourself and your emotions. Most of all, just be.

God didn’t put us on this earth to stress, grind 24/7, be unhappy and resentful towards others. We’re here to help each other open our hearts more.

🧡 C.
